Mitchell’s Motorplex in Perkinston temporarily closing

PERKINSTON, Miss. (WXXV)- Mitchell’s Motorplex in Perkinston announced they will be closed until further notice.

The cause is an insurance matter that cannot be resolved.

All scheduled events are pending until a resolution is found.

The Mitchell family says they want to thank all racers, fans, staff, and supporters who helped along the way.

The family also apologizes for any inconvenience this causes for the upcoming races.
