Mississippi woman killed due to storm

A 52-year-old woman drowned in Rankin County, Mississippi after her car got swept away by fast-moving floodwaters.
Police say the woman called 911 when she realized she was in danger. Officers arrived within five minutes, but it was too late. They couldn’t find her and could not get her on the phone.
Divers eventually recovered Jacqueline Williams’ body. Her car remains submerged in the creek. Florence Police Chief Richard Thomas said, “Words don’t describe it. Words don’t describe it. They’re real good people. The kids are good people. I hate that it happened, known them for a long time.”
A second woman was killed in Tallahatchie County Sunday night when a tree fell on her home.
