Mississippi West Coast Career Fair Showcase offers students a look at future careers
BAY ST. LOUIS, Miss. (WXXV)- High school juniors got a hands-on look at their futures on Thursday. The Mississippi West Coast Career Showcase brought students and professionals together in Bay St. Louis.
Students filled the Bay St. Louis Community Hall to get a first hand look at possible career paths.
The Mississippi West Coast Career Showcase brought together juniors from Hancock, Pass Christian, St. Stanislaus, Bay High, and Our Lady Academy.
The event gave students a chance to step outside the classroom and into real-world conversations with professionals from a variety of fields.
Organizers say the goal is simple, help students explore their options early, and build connections that could shape their futures.
From hands-on demonstrations to one-on-one conversations, students were able to learn about education requirements, job expectations, and even future opportunities.
