Mississippi State’s Victoria Vivians named All-American
It’s been quite a week for Mississippi State’s Victoria Vivians, who became the first four-time Gillom Trophy winner on Monday and followed that up with All-American recognition earlier today.
The star of the Bulldogs was named to the first team by USA Today, putting the exclamation point on a senior season for the ages.
Vivians ranks third in the SEC in scoring with close to 20 points per game and has scored in double figures in 32 out of her team’s 33 games.
MSU has also won 32 out of its 33 games with the SEC first team selection leading the charge.
Vivians guided the Bulldogs to their first perfect regular season in program history and fell just one game short of winning the SEC Tournament.
