Mississippi State’s Parker Stinnett named SEC Co-Pitcher of the Week
In some positive pitching news for MSU, Parker Stinnett was named SEC Co-Pitcher of the Week and it’s hard to pitch any better than he did in his two most recent starts against 17th ranked Texas Tech at MGM Park and Princeton.
He set a career high with 12 strikeouts in the first game and matched it in the second, racking up 24 punchouts across just 11 innings, allowing just one earned run and one extra base hit in the process.
Of course, doing the catching for Stinnett is former George County Rebel Logan Tanner.
