Mississippi State huge favorites vs. East Tennessee

According to ESPN Analytics, Mississippi State has a 99.2 percent chance to win Saturday morning’s game against East Tennessee State which is a nice change of pace after losing to top-ranked Georgia 45-19.

As a player, you could see how it might be easy to start looking ahead to the last game on the schedule, better known as the Egg Bowl.

Head Coach Mike Leach on how he plans to keep his team in the moment. “Should’ve been doing it the whole time, which is just trying to improve yourself, trying to be the best player you can be and improve your skills. I mean that’s what you’ve got control over. I mean it’s important to know what the other guy is going to do just so you adjust to his particular characteristics, but this business of all of a sudden, you’re going to change dramatically how you improve because of what the other guy does, you don’t have any control over the other guy. You’ve got control over yourself, or at least you do if you’ll take it, and that’s what we need to do.”

The Bulldogs have an early kickoff for Senior Day against ETSU, 11 a.m. from Starkville. Ocean Springs alum Austin Williams is one of those seniors.
