Mississippi State Head Football Coach Mike Leach agrees to two-year extension
Per reports, Mississippi State Head Football Coach Mike Leach is staying around Starkville for a while after agreeing on a two-year extension.
This extension raises his salary to $5.5 million, running through the 2025 season.
Now entering his third year with the Bulldogs, Leach is coming off a 7-6 showing, capped off by a loss to his former team Texas Tech in the Liberty Bowl.
MSU went 4-6 in 2020 despite stunning at-the-time defending national champion LSU in the season opener.
State opens on September 3rd against Memphis.
