Mississippi State Baseball in Biloxi
Mississippi State is playing its very first game at MGM Park tonight.
MSU Head Coach stated the players are excited to travel to the Coast and experience the fairly new ball park. The Bulldogs are fighting for a victory over the University of Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks. With so many Bulldog supporters here on the Coast, the team is ready to walk away with a W in front of fans. Maroon and white covers nearly every seat in the park tonight.
Mississippi State fan Nick Gault said, “Just living on the Coast, I hadn’t been to a game in a long, long time.”
Mississippi State fan Delaney Mallett said, “It’s cool. I like it a lot so far. I’ll like the rest of the game as long as we win.”
“It’s pretty fun,” said Mississippi State fan Nicholas Gault, “I don’t really get to see them often so it’s really cool whenever they come down here and I get to watch them since we’re so far away from Starkville.”
The game serves as a homecoming for MSU outfielder Cody Brown. Brown is a Biloxi native and was a four year starter for Biloxi High’s baseball team.
