Mississippi State alum Dak Prescott makes NFL history in Sunday night rout
In the other primetime game this weekend, Mississippi State alum Dak Prescott making history as the first NFL quarterback to throw a touchdown pass to a wide receiver, a running back, a tight end, and an offensive lineman in the same game and he did it all before halftime in a 56-14 blowout win for the Dallas Cowboys over the Washington Football Team.
The end result, the Cowboys winning the NFC East division title for the first time since 2018. “I give credit to Kellen on those, dialing all of those up at the right time, obviously great looks on all of those situations, even obviously right before half on the one to Amari. Those are just great play calls at the right time knowing what the defense was doing and it just made my job easy to get the ball to the open guy. I mean obviously winning the division is something that you set a team goal to do at the beginning of the year, and to get the t-shirts and hats, that’s a cool thing, nobody in the locker room is satisfied with that.”
Dallas is now the first team to score at least 55 points in a game this season.
