Mississippi State alum called up to Cardinals

This week, Mississippi State alum Dakota Hudson got the call of a lifetime except it wasn’t really a call.

During the second inning of his Wednesday start with the Memphis Redbirds, the former Bulldog was pulled from the game in preparation for his Major League promotion to the St. Louis Cardinals.

The move was made official today.
