Mississippi State Ace Landon Sims out for the year with torn UCL

Mississippi State National Champion ace pitcher Landon Sims announcing today he’s out for the rest of the year to have season-ending surgery to repair a torn UCL in his throwing arm.

With Sims still likely to be drafted after his junior season, this could be it for his MSU baseball career.

Sims was dominant in his first three starts this season, striking out 27 across 15-and-two-third innings to go along with a 1.15 ERA.
