Mississippi Sound Coalition Manager Gerald Blessey talks about Bonnet Carre Spillway

Every time the U.S. Corps of Engineers opens the Bonnet Carre Spillway in Louisiana to deal with Mississippi River flooding, it’s an environmental and economic disaster for our Mississippi Sound.

The Mississippi Sound Coalition is made up of concerned citizens and scientists. The group is on a mission to Save our Sound.
