Mississippi Songwriters Festival returns to the Gulf Coast
OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- The 16th annual Mississippi Songwriters Festival is back on the Coast this weekend.
The festival brings artists from all over the world together for a weekend of performances at venues across Ocean Springs and Gautier. This year, musicians will also perform at Pine Island.
Attendees will have the chance to take part in workshops, hear rising stars perform in a youth showcase, and enjoy a Reggie Bates Memorial Showcase.
The festival kicked off yesterday evening with the 2025 Mississippi Songwriters Alliance Hall of Fame Induction, honoring those from the Magnolia State who have made significant contributions to music.
The festival continues until Sunday when it will conclude with a grand finale at the Mary C. beginning at 1 p.m.
