Mississippi Songwriters Festival begins tonight

Happening today, an annual festival celebrating our state’s rich musical talent begins in Jackson County.

The Mississippi Songwriters Festival kicks off tonight at 7 with a Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at the Mary C. O’Keefe in Ocean Springs.

Jim Weatherly, Jimmie Rodgers, and Elsie McWilliams are just a few of the names that will be indicted.

Then, a list of performers and performances will take place at multiple venues across Jackson County.
