Mississippi Small Business Development Center opens business resource center

Business owners looking for some assistance can now get extra resources thanks to the Mississippi Small Business Development Center.

The center cut the ribbon on their new business resource center located on the eighth floor of the Hancock Whitney Building in Gulfport.

The resource business center will bring business owners and potential business owners an array of no-cost business resources under one roof.

Mississippi Small Business Development State Director Sharon Nichols tells News 25 all the resources that will be available at the new business resource center. “We have individuals that have either strong banking financial experience or small business ownerships and management and what they do is they work with individuals to connect them to either funding opportunities, making sure their plans are solid, work on strategies to pivot and relaunch a new line. We also connect them to resources such as international trade which we do have our experts and our specialists for international trade that will be housed at this location.”

Limited small groups were able to tour the new business resource center.
