The Gulfport City Council announced that the Mississippi Senior Olympics has been inducted into the Mississippi Hall of Fame.
The Mississippi Senior Olympics are a yearly event that anyone over that age of 50 can compete in. Events include shuffle board, darts, and pickle ball.
The council also announced today that the Gulf Coast will now be hosting the official qualifier, meaning anyone who wants to go to the national competition will have to come to the coast.
