Mississippi Red Cross Launches Natl. Home Fire Safety Campaign in Gautier
Beginning at 9 a.m., volunteers will meet at the Central Fire Station, located at 2502 College Circle, for a breakfast briefing and ward/neighborhood-assignment, after which they will go door-to-door to talk with residents about fire prevention and safety tips and assess residents’ need for smoke detectors. Once the assessment is completed, an installation schedule will be coordinated by the Fire Department. Community volunteers are encourage to join the canvassing efforts.
