Mississippi Power Foundation and Coast Chamber award $16,000 in small business grants

The Mississippi Power Foundation and the Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce awarded thousands of dollars to local businesses through grants.

Donations topped at $16,000 to small businesses here on the Coast.

This is the fifth year of the Mississippi Power Shine a Light Minority Small Business Grants. Partnering with the Coast Chamber, this is Mississippi Power’s way of offering grant opportunities to local businesses each year as a helping hand.

A total of 16 businesses from across South Mississippi received the grant funds to go towards their business.
