Mississippi Power crews assist in storm recovery
As Floridians and Georgians continue to assess the damage left in the wake of Idalia, Mississippi Power crews are lending a helping hand.
More than 250 linemen and support personnel are now in southeast Georgia helping to restore power to some 30,000 customers in the region.
Mississippi Power officials say these crews will stay in impacted areas for as long as they’re needed.
