Mississippi players heading to the Super Bowl
Both teams in Super Bowl 59 feature some athletes who played college ball right here in Mississippi!
Kansas City is looking to make NFL history with a three peat and two Mississippi athletes could be part of that.
Defensive Tackle Chris Jones is one of the Chiefs’ biggest stars. He spent his collegiate career at Mississippi State and was selected in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Former Southern Miss linebacker Swayze Bozeman could go from practice squad signee to Super Bowl champion his rookie year.
The Eagles boasting two Magnolia State standouts as well. All Pro Wide Receiver AJ Brown is a proud Ole Miss alum while Mississippi State cornerback Darius Slay Jr. is the veteran of the group in his 12th season in the league.
