Mississippi Natural Hair Expo returns to the Coast

After a two-year hiatus, the Mississippi Natural Hair Expo returned to the Coast this weekend.

While it’s called the Natural Hair Expo, event organizer Jennifer McDonald says it offers more than just hair care products.

Over 30 vendors from all over the south came to the event to show off their beauty products like creams, jewelry, hair products, clothing, and more.

The event had something for anyone of any age and gender. McDonald said, “The reaction from the guests have been like really great, really positive. They’re really excited to learn more about their hair and how they can style their hair best to fit them and have healthy hair and also, they love shopping with all the vendors. So, it’s been a really great experience.”

This was the expo’s seventh year on the Coast.
