Mississippi native, Ole Miss alum Ben Brown reflects on perseverance that landed him with New England Patriots

BOSTON, Mass. (WXXV) — New England Patriots offensive lineman Ben Brown has always known what it means to persevere.

Brown and his family moved to Ocean Springs during his childhood, ultimately living there until a few years after Hurricane Katrina made landfall. After relocating to Vicksburg, he put together a stellar high school career and eventually played collegiately with the Ole Miss Rebels.

As an undrafted free agent, Brown once again persevered through a season-ending injury and moves across multiple franchises before being picked up by the New England Patriots during the 2024 season. Since then, he’s been an NFL-starting linemen, reached the Super Bowl and recently signed a two-year extension to remain with the franchise.

WXXV News 25’s Elizabeth Keen had more in this exclusive interview with Brown.
