Mississippi National Guard troops to deploy to Middle East as part of ‘Operation Epic Fury’
Mississippi National Guard units from across the state are deploying to the Middle East as part of the ongoing ‘Operation Epic Fury’ targeting Iran.
Airmen and soldiers from the 186th Air Refueling WING, 172nd Airlift Wing, 2-20th Special Forces Battalion, and Special Operations Detachment are part of this deployment, under U.S. Central Command’s umbrella.
Reacting to the news, Governor Tate Reeves says he is praying for the service members now deployed and highlighted their skill and courage in responding to this call.
