Mississippi Museum of Art acquires Fountainhead

Jackson, Miss. (WXXV)- The Mississippi Museum of Art is sharing they have acquired a home designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.

Fountainhead was build in Jackson’s Fondren neighborhood, originally built in 1954.

The home will undergo a restoration process, museum staff hoping to give guided tours by 2027.

These tours would give Mississippi residents and tourists a chance to experience the state’s design history.
