Mississippi Highway Patrol worked two accidents

Mississippi Highway Patrol worked two accidents this morning.

The first accident was eastbound on I-10 at mile marker 2 in Hancock County. This accident was called in around 6 a.m. and involved a single vehicle.

A box truck carry produce flipped and was blocking both eastbound lanes. Traffic was backed up to the split in Louisiana.

The driver was injured in the crash, but no life-threatening injuries were reported.

Authorities also worked a second accident in Pearl River County involving an overturned 18-wheeler. The accident occurred on Highway 43, just north of Ramsey Hall Road. No injuries were reported in this incident.
