Mississippi Highway Patrol trooper seriously injured in weekend accident

SOUTH MISS. (WXXV)- South Mississippians are rallying around the family of a Mississippi Highway Patrol trooper seriously injured in an on-duty accident here on the Coast over the weekend.

Details on the nature of the crash are still limited, but we do know that Trooper Tavon Moore’s recovery is expected to take months.
