Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon returns this weekend

Rain or shine, thousands of runners will be running across the Coast this weekend.

The Gulf Coast Marathon is returning for its sixth year. Between Saturday and Sunday there will be four races across Harrison County.

The main marathon starts at 7 Sunday morning at Henderson Point in Pass Christian. Runners will cross the finish line at MGM Park in Biloxi.

This year, organizers are expecting about 3,500 runners. Tomorrow is the last day to register for the full and half marathon.
