Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College opens W.C. Fore Parkway

HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College students will now have a new way to get on to the Harrison County campus and its all in thanks to the opening of a new entrance road.

Campus and Coast officials gathered for the opening of the W.C. Fore Parkway Thursday.

It’s a project that was initially developed ten years ago and through generous funding and donations has finally become a reality for the college.

The W.C. Fore Parkway is named after longtime college supporter and Coast businessman W.C. Fore, who MGCCC credits as an instrumental part of the projects.
