Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College named military friendly school

Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College has once again been recognized for its strong support of military students, veterans, and military families here on the Coast.

MGCCC has earned the 2026-2027 Military Friendly School Gold Designation, along with a top ten honor as a military spouse friendly school.

This marks 17 consecutive years that MGCCC has been recognized, including multiple number one national rankings and six top ten placements.

G.I. Jobs Magazine, which complies this list yearly, says the designations reflect MGCCC’s efforts in helping active-duty service members, veterans, and their families succeed through flexible programs, financial support, and dedicated support services.
