Mississippi Forestry Commission crew returns from Utah wildfire mission

The Mississippi Forestry Commission is welcoming two of their own home this week.

Kevin Craft and Bill Lundsford are both from the Gulf Coast region. They completed a mission out of state.

Both helped battle the Cottonwood fire near Beaver, Utah. That fire reached nearly 100,000 acres.

Craft served as the public information officer, acting as a link between the incident team and the public.

Meanwhile, Lunsford oversaw the safety and tactical direction of heavy machinery, operators, and transports.
