Mississippi featured for the first time in Rose Parade

Mississippi is being represented in the Rose Parade for the first time!

The design of the float features the Magnolia State’s history of music, with B. B. King and Elvis Presley being featured prominently.

The Rose Parade takes place in California on New Year’s Day.
