Mississippi Coast Model Railroad Museum to host New Year’s Glow Party
The team at the Mississippi Coast Model Railroad Museum is wrapping up their holiday festivities with their New Year’s Eve Glow Party.
The party will run from 6:30 to 8 p.m. New Year’s Eve. Cost of admission will be $5 per adult and $2 per child.
The party will feature a variety of activities such as glow games, dance offs, balloon drops, and prize giveaways.
Prior to the party, the museum will also host a ‘Harry Potter’ night on the 29th and a ‘Pokémon’ night on the 30th.
The museum will close for New Year’s Day and then return to normal operating hours of Wednesday through Sunday from 12 to 5. Assistant Manager Melanie Crownover said, “The community support has been amazing, but I think the best thing for us is getting to be a part of those people’s holidays. You know, we have so many people that come back every year that this is really a family tradition for them, and to be a part of that for us is so special.”
The team at the museum asks all visitors to register through the Event Brite link on the museum’s Facebook page before heading to the glow party.
