Mississippi Coast Model Railroad Museum holding Christmas Lights Festival
The Mississippi Coast Model Railroad Museum’s sixth annual Christmas Lights Festival is still going on through December 31st.
Due to popular demand, the light show has extended their hours tomorrow from noon until 9 p.m. and will be open Christmas Eve from noon until 8 p.m.
Guests can view more than two million holiday lights and can take part in nightly, kid-friendly activities from STEM nights and game nights to arts and crafts.
You can also enjoy performances and run into some special guests. Katherine Sutton with the MCMRM said, “The museum started in 2015 and we had our first Christmas lights. It was such a phenomenal event. Everybody has memories of trains around the Christmas tree. It was just such a great fit and it is been a wonderful event every year. It just keeps getting bigger and better and we have so many people that come back every year to see them.”
Admission is $5 per adult, $2 per child ages three to 12, and free for children age two and under.
