Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics seizes fentanyl and cocaine in Jackson County

JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- On Thursday, October 9, the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics executed a search warrant at a home in Moss Point.

Fourty-five-year-old Linquin Frank Reid was arrested and charged with three counts of sale of controlled substance-fentanyl, felon in possession of a firearm, aggravated trafficking of cocaine, trafficking of fentanyl, possession of crack cocaine, and possession of marijuana, all while in possession of a firearm.

During the execution of this search warrant, agents seized approximately 442 grams of Cocaine, 128 grams of Fentanyl, 261 dosage units of counterfeit Oxycodone pills containing Fentanyl, 39 grams of Crack Cocaine, 52 grams of Marijuana, 3 handguns, and money.

MBN was assisted in this investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Safe Street Task Force (SSTF), Pascagoula Police Department and the Coastal Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET). CNET is comprised of Agents from MBN and Law Enforcement Officers from Pascagoula, Lucedale, and Wiggins Police Departments, and George County Sheriff’s Office.
