Mississippi Aviation Heritage Museum in Gulfport celebrating National Aviation History Month
November is National Aviation History Month and the Mississippi Aviation Heritage Museum in Gulfport is celebrating by hosting a gala called “Come Fly With Me.”
The fundraising event will take place Saturday, November 20th at 6 p.m. and will have dinner, drinks, dancing, live music, a live auction, and a silent auction.
Individual tickets are $75 and a table for 8 people costs $700 and includes party favors.
The Mississippi Aviation Museum’s goal is to highlight the state’s rich aviation history.
The museum is filled with STEM-interactive exhibits that include 14 touch tables teaching aviation, a flight simulator, live mechanics, working on and renovating airplanes, and a theater that looks like the interior of an airliner.
