Mississippi Aquarium to Host Sensory Days on Select Dates

GULFPORT, Miss. – Mississippi Aquarium will open its doors early on Saturday, May 17 for another Sensory Day.

This special offering was designed for those individuals that are differentially abled, have special health care needs, or benefit from a more sensory-friendly atmosphere.

During Sensory Days, Mississippi Aquarium will provide a calm environment, gentle lighting, and reduced noise, all designed to make for a stress-free visit allowing people to explore marine life at their own pace.

The morning will consist of exclusive meet and greets with ambassador animals, educational activities, sensory bins, quiet spaces and off-mic educational talks.
