This date holds much significance for the state of Mississippi, as 15 years ago, Hurricane Katrina transformed the coastline. The aquarium once again transforms the Coast making Mississippi stronger than ever

Mississippi Aquarium is opening their doors to the public on this monumental day, representing a revitalization of Coastal Mississippi.

The health and safety of guests, animals and staff are a top priority. Mississippi Aquarium has implemented several policies to ensure guests get the most out of their visit.

Before you purchase your ticket and membership, here are a few things you need to know:

  • Plan Your Visit: Timed arrival tickets are required prior to visiting us. This will allow the aquarium to ensure visitation levels remain safe. Buying your tickets online is strongly recommended. The Aquarium will limit the number of guests allowed to visit each day. Reservations can be secured in 30-minute time slots and guests will only be admitted before their scheduled time when capacity allows. The length of your stay will not be limited.
  • Covid-19: Mississippi Aquarium’s staff is closely monitoring state and local guidelines regarding Covid-19. A safe experience for guests, animals and staff is top priority.
