Mississippi Aquarium offering free admission for veterans this weekend

To honor and celebrate its modern-day heroes, the Mississippi Aquarium will offer free admission for both veterans and all active military.

Starting Friday, veterans and active military personnel can explore the wonders of Mississippi Aquarium at no charge.

The free admission continues Saturday and Sunday.

Accompanying family members will also receive 20 percent off general admission tickets as part of the three-day special. Mississippi Aquarium President and CEO Kurt Allen said, “Veterans Day is really special. We are very heavily concentrated with military families along the Coast. We have lots of different branches from Keesler to the Seabees to the Coast Guard. It’s a chance for us to really share with our community, to do something where we can say thank you for the people that give us the ability to live life like we do.”

Guests must present a valid military ID to receive complimentary admission.
