Mississippi Aquarium offering bead recycling bin
GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- Some of you may be thinking already of how you’re going to get rid of all those excess Mardi Gras beads you caught this year.
The Mississippi Aquarium has a donation bin for all of your Mardi Gras beads, helping residents dispose of beads and supporting sustainability in the process.
The purpose of the bin is to prevent beads from harming wildlife by keeping them out of ecosystems.
The drop off site is located at the Aquarium’s plaza just by the ticketing entrance.
You can recycle you beads every day through March 2.
