Mississippi Aquarium accepting internship applications

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- The Mississippi Aquarium is accepting summer aquatics fish and invertebrate internship applications.

Those who sign up will get hands on experience caring for the smallest of animals at the aquarium.

You’ll learn how to maintain healthy fish and reptiles. These summer applications close Friday, March 6.

The aquarium is also accepting summer internships for their marine mammal program.

Interns in this program will have the chance to assist with animal care and maintenance for the aquarium’s dolphins and otters.

Applications for this internship are accepted until Friday, March 13.
