Mississippi Antique Galleria is now open in Gulfport

It’s been a long three years in the making, but the Mississippi Antique Galleria is officially open for business in Gulfport.

Known also as ‘The Mag,’ it’s now Mississippi’s largest antique mall where more than 80 vendors are selling a variety of not just antique items, but clothes and modern items.

Owner Jourdan Nicaud says he was inspired to open an antique mall on the Coast because it reminded him of childhood memories of shopping with his mom.

Nicaud tells News 25 he hopes this will help small businesses grow and help the Coast economy by attracting more visitors from other states. “The quality of the material that the vendors are bringing us is just second to none. I’ve been to tons of antique malls all along the state and I’ve never seen one with vendors that have this quality and really care about what they are doing. They come and work their booths. It’s been amazing. It really has been.”

The galleria is on Pass Road near Ford Street and it is open Wednesday through Sunday each week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
