Mississippi Advisory Commission meets to discuss marine resources

D’IBERVILLE, Miss. (WXXV)- State marine leaders met in D’Iberville Tuesday to discuss a range of issues impacting Mississippi’s coastal and marine resources.

At the meeting on Tuesday, members reviewed data, shared updates on certain projects, and discussed strategies for sustaining coastal resources.

One of the main topics discussed was the latest oyster report and whether conditions in local waters are showing signs of improvement for oyster harvesting and cultivation.
