Miracle Temple AOH Church in Biloxi resumes services after vandalism
A church in Biloxi is returning to normal worship after being vandalized twice in the last three weeks.
Miracle Temple AOH Church of God is reopening this Sunday with a celebration honoring its pastor’s seventh anniversary at the church.
In July, the vandals robbed the church, broke the locks on the doors, destroyed instruments, and trashed the inside of the church.
Just two days later, Pastor Gary Johnson entered the sanctuary and found ten bullet holes shot through the church’s glass windows.
Pastor Johnson says the congregation relied on each other and their faith to get through these times. “It most definitely brought us together. Knowing that their faith that must be had in our lives, increased our faith knowing that God had our back in this situation. And he saw us through it.”
Pastor Johnson invites the Gulf Coast to celebrate with his church this Sunday at 3:45 p.m.
