Minor injuries reported after flash fire at Hancock County facility

At approximately 10:30 a.m., Tennessee Gas Pipeline experienced a small release of natural gas during a minor maintenance activity on a valve. 

That release resulted in a flash fire at its Bay St. Louis Compressor Station in Hancock County, Mississippi. 

Two employees were transported to Ochsner Medical Clinic for minor burns. An investigation into the cause and quantity of the release will be conducted.
