Mini horse makes nursing home window visits in Wisconsin

This mini horse is making a big impact on the residents at nursing homes.

Meet Sawdust, a miniature horse who has become a regular visiting the residents at senior centers in Muskego, Wisconsin.

When the coronavirus began spreading, Sawdust and his owner, Alexa Billstrom, decided to change up their visits, stopping by to see some of their friends at the care facilities, but this time through the window.

Billstrom coordinated with the workers to make sure residents were ready to see Sawdust on the other side of the glass.

Photos show how this little horse has brought some big smiles to their faces and now he’s being invited to do the same at more nursing homes in the area.
