Miner’s Toy Store holding rededication ceremony for statue
Looking one week ahead, the Miner’s Toy Store in Ocean Springs will be hosting a statue rededication.
The original statue outside of Miner’s Toy Store was stolen in 2022. That statue was purchased by Ocean Springs Main Street as a 90th birthday gift in 2015 for Mary-Alice and John Miner, the original owners of the toy store.
The rededication will happen from 4 to 6 and will take place outside of Miner’s Toy Store.
A presentation and ribbon cutting will begin at 4:30. The community is encouraged to bring their families and celebrate the occasion.
Guests will also be able to enjoy cake, cotton candy, music by Caution Swing Bridge, and much more.
