Milwaukee Brewers top prospect Jacob Misiorowski named MiLB Southern League pitcher of the week

Minor league baseball recently announced that Biloxi Shucker starting pitcher, and Milwaukee Brewers top prospect, Jacob Misiorowski was named the Southern League pitcher of the week.

In his only start of the week, on June 19th at the Rocket City Trash Pandas, Jacob Misiorowski tied his career-high with six shutout innings and struck out five in the process. The six innings marked his longest start since e struck out 12 over six shutout innings back on August 15th of 2023. Over 13 starts, Misiorowski ranks 2nd in the Southern League in strikeout rate, sitting at 28.1%.
