Millions In Improvements On The Way

Big improvements are on the way for the city of Diamondhead.
The city recently reviewed several grants underway to support various projects throughout the city.
The project total a little over two million dollars.
A few of the projects the city has started are a new city hall exercise fitness trail.
The project features a half-mile walking trail.
The safe routes schools project will feature a 5 foot sidewalk along the east side of the golf drive from Diamondhead drive east to the south entrance of the Diamondhead Country Club.
Another project, the city’s roundabout, will also be located near Diamondhead Drive east.
The city says the trail and safe route project should be done in April…the city will begin accepting bids for the roundabout April 27th.
