Military training exercise in Moss Point

MOSS POINT, Miss. (WXXV)- The City of Moss Point announced an annual training exercise will take place Monday evening.

The Marine Forces Special Operation starts at 4 this afternoon in the area of Elder Ferry Road and Highway 63. The exercise is expected to last until 9 p.m.

This exercise is also expected to only happen Monday night.

Those in the area may hear military aircraft, gun fire, and other loud noises.
