Mike Ezell’s Campaign for Congress Tour begins Monday

Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell is launching his campaign tour for his bid to become South Mississippi’s next congressman.

Starting Monday, he’ll spend the next three weeks visiting each county in Mississippi’s Fourth Congressional District. He’s starting in George County.

Sheriff Ezell says he’s eager to meet and listen to as many voters as possible this month.

Ezell started his campaign for congress in April of last year.

The field of Republicans challenging incumbent Steven Palazzo has grown to include others such as Senator Brice Wiggins of Pascagoula, Clay Wagner, Carl Boyanton, Raymond Brooks, and Louis Hook.

The Republican primary will be held on June 7th.
